Leadership is where impact happens. Not in the abstract, but in the actual people who walk into a room and shape what is possible for everyone around them. Finding those people and placing them well has been my life’s work. I grew up on a dairy farm in Illinois, which taught me early that paying attention to every detail is not optional when something real depends on it. That habit has followed me throughout my career. A friend’s daughter once told me my superpower was insightfulness. I cannot imagine a more useful quality in this work.

I take this work seriously. I try not to take myself too seriously. And I believe the right leadership hire genuinely changes everything.
